Charissa Thompson

Thompson who resigned from FOX Sports for Yahoo Sports in 2010, also hosted Versus Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage and recorded web videos for the incredibly popular Yahoo platform. She was also responsible for Yahoo Sports' presence at major events such as events like the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV as well as the BCS National Championship. She was a successful host across both of these areas. This made her join ESPN in August of 2011. As a host, she hosted the newly created afternoon show "Numbers Never Lie" that was broadcast on ESPN. Thompson joined"SportsNation" in the summer of 2012 "SportsNation" company in July of 2012. The show proved to be extremely popular, and she stayed with the network until May 2013, when she returned back to Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson, a sports enthusiast by nature, has proven her ability to transition into the entertainment industry. She was tapped as a co-host on"Extra", a Hollywood Newsmagazine "Extra" beginning in the month of June 2014 following a string of part-time gigs.
