Kari Sam Wuhrer, born April 28, 1968 is an American Actress and Singer. Wuhrer began her career as an teen and is most well known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and also as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, who was a police officer as well as a auto salesman.
