Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical drama. At the age of 18, Lisa moved to New York City from Wayne in the state of Wayne, where she was raised according to conservative Jewish traditions. She became very involved with the club scene in the city of New York, and was able to get noticed in the press. While doing so she became more aware of AIDS' devastating effects. Then, she combined her talent and fame with her writing skills and composition abilities to create a show called Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed an interview with MTV and was the host of Awake to the Wild Side. When Awake on the Wild Side was no longer airing, she started acting in films and on television, initially in small parts. As time went on, her work as an actor was growing.
