Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs in The One Direction band. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He is the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive, along with three of his classmates, formed a music band called White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the impressive presentation they made. He was always interested in music but wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapist. To support the family he spent an hour or so working at a baker's shop. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions in The X Factor. This is why his group had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they would form an ensemble called One Direction after the X Factor audition. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the contest, which allowed them to become the frontrunners to win the competition. However they were placed third just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
