Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born April 16, 1996, in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish and English origin. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is one of the five kids, and four of them come the result of a previous marriage to Taylor's father. The family lived in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and later moving to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, the removal was extremely difficult for her and she was unable to master English to the hope of relocating back to Argentina. She was forced to transfer schools to Northlands in order to attend Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's shows. When she was 16, she quit the school to make a career out of acting. Taylor-Joy was a child actress that knew she was going to become one. It was her wish to be a model after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
